Hi everyone! Just had a quick question (or two) for someone who wants to start fishing and researched ‘enough’ about it, but needs more clarity. Can I just use full mono, fluro, or braid on my rod without having a leader? Is there any disadvantages to that? I live in the valley and I think I might start fishing at either Balboa Park or Hansen Dam, but probably Balboa just to dip my feet in this hobby for the first time. All feedback is much appreciated!
