Interface working differently on Audacity across two laptops
Hi all - I have a Windows 11 laptop that I've been using for years with Audacity recording via a Behringer UMC404HD interface. I have always been able to record four individual channels with my setup until today when I tried. Now I'm only being given the option to record on one or two channels maximum.
I tried updating everything and restarting the laptop but with the same results. I then downloaded Audacity onto another laptop of mine (Windows 10), connected it in the exact same way to my interface and it immediately gave me the four channels option again.
So far as I can see all of the settings across both my laptops are exactly the same but there must be something I'm missing - any ideas what it could be? I am using Windows WASAPI as the host on both. And again, I've been using the original laptop to record and edit with Audacity for nearly 7 years now and this is the first time I've had this issue.
