I built yahoo sports for my madden league
OK, so first, a couple of things. I will not claim to be some type of master coder. I used AI to make this app, but I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished here. I came up with every idea and QC'd it, learned how to upload the updates and keep it running 24/7 using github and railway.

- Smart auto-draft strategy: RB/WR anchors early → premium QB/TE mid-rounds → depth → K & D/ST in the final two rounds
- Tier system (league-winner / high-upside / filler), auto-generated from last season's production
- Full draft simulation for testing

Scoring & stats
- PPR scoring pulled straight from your Madden/Neon exports — matches the game exactly
- Weekly stat imports, per-player, counted once (no double-dipping)
- Team D/ST as a real position — scored by summing each defense's weekly production
- Previous-season history import for scouting + projections
Head-to-head play
- Live weekly matchups with VS cards and real-time scoring
- Auto-generated round-robin schedule
- Standings with W/L records
- Single-elimination playoff bracket with a champion crowning + ping
Rosters & lineups
- 8-starter lineups: QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, K, DST
- Self-healing lineups that carry forward week to week
- Player lock when their game starts (just like real life)
Player cards (the crown jewel)
- Scouting card: rating, dev trait, availability, last-season game log, projection
- Matchup page: most recent game (result + points), full upcoming schedule with bye weeks, red/yellow/green difficulty dots, and matchup-adjusted projections — pageable through the whole season

- Rolling reverse-standings waiver claims
- Trade propose / review / accept / cancel with a value guardrail

- Paginated Top Scorers and Free Agents — tap any name to open their card
- Position filters (incl. D/ST), player search, draft board browser
