July 2027 Wedding - Venue set. Need help with when to do what...
Hey everyone!
My fiance and I got engaged last September. We chose not to worry about a wedding too soon because I have a house I bought in 2024 that we have been remodeling and didnt want the stress of trying to budget a wedding and the remodel at the same time so we didnt choose 2026. We have now picked a date and a venue which is currently writing up the contract but date is reserved for 2 weeks till they get that set up.
Here is my problem. Its not till July 2027. So im not sure when to do what. We have to choose catering from the venues list. Luckily they had an open house with all their vendors so we have an idea of who we want for catering.
- When do we schedule tastings? How far out am I supposed to book them?
- I have save the dates I made but since its over a year away im not sure when to send them out. Do I wait till mid July? August?
- When do i need to have a dress picked out by?
- makeup artist? How many trials did you do? How much was it?
- Photographer?
-DJ?
- Rings?
My mother is a florist so thats not an issue. What am I forgetting? Im in the Seattle,WA area if that helps.
