Looking for a Project Finance co-founder for African infrastructure project
Hi all,
I have recently launched the Lobito Corridor Investment Platform - a platform dedicated to finance strategic infrastructure projects along the Lobito Corridor (DRC-Zambia-Angola).
The platform combines an investment and public affairs approach as unfortunately, despite its valuable opportunities, Africa still suffers from a major reputational problem.
The Lobito Corridor is a highly geo-strategic area where the US, UAE, Chinese and Europeans are all vying for a piece of the pie. I’m lucky to have built a solid network across the region and in Europe (based in Brussels) and we already are supporting a Zambian mining equipment firm with the funding of their warehouse.
Now, my background is in lobbying and public affairs, with a focus on mining, critical raw materials and EU-Africa. I’m currently studying project finance as I go along but could definitely use help from someone with a bit more experience, which would allow us to tackle bigger projects in the pipeline.
