Fantastic frames 🤣

Fantastic frames 🤣

A while back, SmartGuy brought up the topic of *Bad Luck Jack*'s amazing frames on Discord. He even shared some wonderful examples where characters appeared with a detail wrong (like Jack missing his cast), were completely distorted, or had some hilarious expressions 🤣

So, I’d like to expand the scope of this project a bit: if you come across an interesting scene worth capturing, please include it here—or better yet, join the server and post it in the "videos and images" folder 🤠

What do you think about? 13: Jackie

For the next teacher, we have Jackie 🐦

Jackie is an "avian"—a human-bird hybrid. She wears very colorful outfits featuring blue, yellow, and green (I believe she’s inspired by a blue-and-yellow macaw. Eba! Representatividade 🇧🇷)

As for her backstory, the only thing known about her prior to her appearance in the comic is that she is married to Alanzo, the dance teacher; they have a stable relationship and love each other very much 🥰

She has a very cheerful and extroverted personality—a truly lively person, as seen in how she interacts with her students and Cameron. Plus, obviously, she loves the performing arts (I probably didn't even need to mention that, right? 😐)

Regarding trivia: well, the *only* piece of trivia about her on the wiki is that, according to Vivzie, Jackie is just a nickname; her full name is Jacinta

Random question 46: What do you think about the comic?

I know I already have a "What do you think about?" segment, but it's just for characters (at least until I run out of interesting ones to use 😅). So, considering today is the comic's anniversary, I decided to ask a question along those lines 🤠

I believe most people here have read the comic (if you haven't, consider this a recommendation 😉), and naturally, we all have our own impressions. Today's question is all about your opinions on the comic. Did you fall in love with it the first time you read it? How did you discover it? What went through your mind when you realized it had gone on hiatus? Do you think it has a future? How did you react when you found out it was just the tip of the *Zoophobia* iceberg? Feel free to share whatever you'd like! 😁

Happy birthday, Zoophobia!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉

Well, a few days ago I posted a happy birthday message to the subreddit, but today is even more special, Today is the 14th anniversary of the Zoophobia comic!!! 🥳🎉

It's strange to see how long ago this was; as far as I can imagine, there must be people here who weren't even born when the comic was released lol

I hope that more and more people will be here to celebrate the upcoming anniversaries, and that next year we can celebrate the anniversary of the miniseries (God willing 🙏)

I'd love to invite everyone here for a barbecue and celebrate, but let's just say:

1-I'm terrible at cooking

2-I think it's difficult to afford a plane ticket for everyone here to Brazil 🤪

(By the way, I want to thank Whisper, who reminded me about this today in the Zoophobia Discord group. I honestly would have forgotten without that reminder, so, if you see this, thank you very much Whisper 😊)

u/PS59716 — 3 days ago

What do you think about? 12: Fabian

(Oh boy, where is Whisper now?)

Moving on from Zechariah, naturally, the next one to talk about is Fabian 🦊

Fabian is a fox with a very special trait: a HUGE tail (due to a hereditary condition that causes his tail to grow ceaselessly as he ages—specifically, about a foot per year 🤓)

As for his backstory, he has a dark past involving heavy drug use and frequent sexual encounters (honestly, it’s hard to picture that gentleman using narcotics or wallowing in lust), as well as an obscure and not-so-friendly relationship with Simon, a vampire fox 🧛🦊

Regarding his personality, Fabian is a charming ladies' man, but also kind-hearted (like when he comforted Cameron the moment she arrived at Safe Haven). However, he can also show courage, such as during his fight with Simon

An interesting fact about him is that—believe it or not—he has a 26-year-old daughter named Clarissa (I just can't wrap my head around the fact that Fabian is 50–60 years old 🧓)

Random question 45: If you could choose a subject to study at ZPA, what would it be?

"Oh my God, PS5, another opinion question? Are you really that out of ideas for normal questions?" Yep 🤠👍 (but it's not just a lack of ideas; I think they're fun, and besides, they attract more people :3)

I assume everyone here knows that ZPA is a school, right? Well, like any school, there are various subjects taught by different teachers, and that’s what today’s question is about: Which subject would you choose? Would you prefer studying psychology with the charming Fabian? Theater with the enthusiastic Jackie (and, unfortunately, Gustav 😒)? Dance with the hyperactive Alanzo (and Nathan)? Languages with Perci? (Not to be mean, but I find it hard to imagine anyone choosing that last one 😐)

u/PS59716 — 4 days ago

What do you think about? 11: Zechariah

Well, moving on from the students to the ZPA staff, we have our beloved vice-principal: Zechariah 🐆 (by the way, I only just realized this while writing, but I could have sworn it was ZechariaN)

Zechariah is a very large and slender cheetah (really? Hard to tell 😑); his body is almost entirely yellow with golden spots, except for his ears and legs, which are black

As for his background, he is one of the guardians and peacekeepers of Safe Haven, in other words, a figure of great authority, as well as the vice-principal of the ZPA

He has an extremely calm and attentive personality, rarely raising his voice or acting rudely; however, he is completely intolerant of undisciplined students or anything that might threaten Safe Haven and its inhabitants

An interesting detail is that several employees seem to have a crush on him, but he doesn't notice because he's always focused on other things (yay, more stuff to add to the descriptions 🥳)

Random question 44: What is your favorite couple?

Ah, love—the feeling that gives you butterflies in your stomach, the feeling that brings joy and happiness to those who experience it, the feeling that moves the world 🥰

Of course, Zoophobia has its romantic pairings—some official, others existing only in our imaginations—but the important thing is that they exist. And since the characters are fictional, we can pair them up however we like (provided it’s not something criminal, for heaven's sake, right?). So, I ask you today: who is your favorite Zoophobia couple? And, of course, if you have a ship, why not share it? 😉

u/PS59716 — 6 days ago

What do you think about? 10: Mackenzie

(Well, before talking about Mackenzie, I wanted to mention that today's character was actually supposed to be Tom, but let's just say he's not exactly a wellspring of substance, so there's not much point in me introducing a character and summarizing them as "not much to comment on" or, in Tom's case, "emo teenager who harasses Addison", so the characters that don't have much to describe, like Tom, will probably be skipped)

From what I've seen, Mackenzie has many fans, But that doesn't impress me; she's quite identifiable, and in my case, just because she loves cats, I already love her 😺

Mackenzie is a reasonably short human (how did she get to Safe Haven? Don't even ask me) with HUGE red hair (so long it drags on the floor, which is a little gross, but let's just ignore that 🤫); she wears pants and a sweater

About her backstory (guess what?) there isn't much information, BUT, it is known that she has an adoptive mother named Margo who, to the surprise of absolutely no one, is a cat

Regarding her personality, she is described as strange by the other students, but it can be said that she is simply shy and has some peculiar tastes, but a notable point is her love for felines, in this case, cats, as can be seen in her talent show performance (Gustav, I hate you 😾)

Random question 43: If you could talk to a character from Zoophobia, who would it be and why?

Zoophobia is PACKED with characters of all kinds, from deities to simple high school students, and they're all interesting in their own way, but if you were to talk to one, who would you choose and, more importantly, why? Would you take this chance to discover more about the world? Would you try to uncover the answer to some great mystery? Or would you simply have a conversation with a beloved character? 💬🗨️

Oh, and if you're wondering why I chose Perci to represent this question for some reason, it's because, well, he talks a lot and the question is about conversation (don't judge me for the bad idea, I'm sleepy 🥲)

u/PS59716 — 8 days ago

What do you think about? 9: Gustav

Look, if I've already seen a good number of people criticizing Addison, I can't even imagine what Gustav will be like (by my side, I like Addison in some parts, but Gustav... 😒)

Gustav is a serpian with bright yellow eyes; he wears clothes in shades of purple and pink

Regarding his history, he was adopted by Marx and The Director (why? I have no idea) when he was younger. He graduated from ZPA a year before the events of the story and goes there regularly to assist the teachers (more specifically, Jackie)

Now, about personality, well, we've arrived at the tricky part 😬. If Gustav could be summed up in one word, it would be "snobbish," or "arrogant," or "selfish," or "egocentric" (you get the idea, right?). He has a constant habit of judging everything and everyone like a professional critic without the slightest need and, of course, based on criteria stipulated by himself such as "how talented such a person is" (again, based entirely on his opinion of talent). Besides, of course, we could cite examples, exceptionally Mackenzie, who was unnecessarily humiliated simply for giving a presentation that Gustav deemed bad (what is Addison and Gustav's problem with Mackenzie anyway? 😾)

Random question 42: How do you feel here?

Well, considering today is an important day for the subreddit, it's only fair to ask a question about the subreddit 😁

This question is actually a combination of several questions, such as: How long have you been here? How did you feel when you first came here? What do you feel the future holds? And the most important, what do you think could be done to make this little corner even better? 😊

u/PS59716 — 10 days ago

Happy birthday, subreddit! 🥳🎉🎂

My friends, today is a special day, today this little subreddit turns 7 years old 🥳. But unlike the last 6 anniversaries, this one is the best of all, because this is the first one since Zoophobia's return was confirmed! 🎉

My respect to those who have been here from the beginning, my thanks to those who have joined this journey over time, and my greetings to those who will come along the way

May we have many more anniversaries to celebrate, and may the miniseries have already been released by the next anniversary 😁

What do you think about? 8: Addison

I remember thinking back then that Addison was a shallow, insignificant secondary character, just another friend of Damian's. Until I saw the sea of information that this guy had, and how much he was a great character, and nowadays I feel like going back in time and saying to myself: "What's wrong with you?" 🫠

Addison is a laboratory creation, a hybrid of human and desert fox, and considered a failure for being born with almost no animal characteristics, except for his tail. He wears an outfit entirely in shades of green, including gloves, scarf, t-shirt, socks, pants, etc. (All green)

His story is pretty crazy, like I said, he was created in a laboratory, more specifically, at Xirxine by "Mother" Amelia, along with Dove (another hybrid creation, in this case, of a human and a sheep, considered a "partial success" due to her blindness). After Dove's death, Addison flees Xirxine and is taken in by Delora, a wealthy widow who adopted Addison and considered him her world. However, Delora dies, and Addison is adopted by Latika, Delora's best friend and art teacher at ZPA

His personality is, in general, quite introverted, with him usually preferring to stay at home and dedicate himself to his artwork, but he has a silly side, which he only shows to his closest friends (Damian and Sahara). Another important point is that supposedly, Addison had a second, evil personality, stemming from the experiments on Xirxine, but this was never explored 😕

(VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Never, under any circumstances, ever leave a snake near Addison. Those who know, know, and I'm not going to explain 😰)

Random question 41: Which district would you like to see explored more?

Unfortunately, throughout its history, Zoophobia hasn't had the slightest bit of time to explore the districts (with the exception of the Animal District, during Jack's flashbacks, but which also didn't have much time to be shown 🥲). So I'd like to know, which one would you like to see more about?

Here is a list with the 6 separated into topics:

  1. Animal District

  2. City District

  3. E! District

  4. Rural District

  5. Academy District

  6. Xirxine

It's worth noting, as far as I saw on the wiki, that the ZPA isn't in one of the districts but in a separate area, or at least I don't recall it saying anywhere that it's in one of them, the most information we have is that the school was created in conjunction with Safe Haven. But you can't really trust the wiki anyway, like, the description says there are 7 districts, but only 6 are listed in the "the six districts" section, so I don't know 🫠

And one more point, apparently, only the Animal District and the E! District have their own images; the other four only appear in the first image (including three of them not even having a wiki page 😔)

What do you think about? 7: Damian

We've arrived at another one I was eager to talk about 😈

Damian is the prince of hell/antichrist, and presents himself as a red jackal with black eyes and red pupils, wearing a very dark red t-shirt with red details at the bottom and on the sleeves (I say "presents himself" because he can change his own form however he sees fit). Regarding his powers, he has fire control, can levitate, and can shapeshift (but he probably has many more powers that just haven't been shown yet)

Regarding his backstory, Damian is the son of Lucifer and Narissa, the king and queen of hell, and as such, Damian inherited the title of prince of hell. As he grew up, Damian was taught and cared for by several people, most notably Major Styx and Tentadora; However, because he didn't like studying at home, after an agreement, Damian was accepted to study at ZPA, along with his cousin (babysitter in his spare time) Jack

Regarding his personality, Damian can be described as a little rascal, always playing pranks and making biting jokes (have you seen the movie "Dennis the Menace"? Exactly). Furthermore, Damian appears to have a somewhat... perverted demeanor, mainly due to his inappropriate comments and invasive flirting

Random Question 40: Why is KayCee so interested in Cameron?

Again, I don't think this question has an answer (heck, I could even create another series about "theoretical questions")

Let's recap: Cameron doesn't appear to have anything special about her; she was just an ordinary woman with zoophobia, desperate for a job. Then, KayCee (a deity representing chaos) disguises herself and sends Cameron to Safe Haven, now, what did a superior being see as interesting in an unemployed woman with a serious problem with animals? (Remember, Safe Haven is the last place you should go if you have zoophobia)

But seriously, why is KayCee so interested in Cameron? Could she have some special characteristic that would be revealed later? Did KayCee choose Cameron because she thought she was easily manipulated? Was there something in Cameron's past that interested KayCee? All of the above? None of the above? 🫠

What do you think about? 6: Vanex

Finally, The Main Five is over, and since the last member I talked about was Spam, obviously Vanex had to be next 🤠

Vanex is a being in the form of a purple cat (yes, she's not a purple cat, she's something in that form), with some dark purple and white details, plus very bright yellow eyes (considering Bad Luck Jack's appearance)

Regarding the story, well, let's remember Zoophobia's biggest problem? Not having enough time to develop any of the characters (This has become something I say in almost every post 😶). The most interesting information about her is that she possibly has some connection to magic or supernatural things

Now, in my opinion, the most interesting part of Vanex is her personality, which can be described as being extremely quiet and mysterious (unlike Spam, her possible, with great emphasis, romantic partner), in addition to always having a book in her hand and to appear to be a person of minuscule patience

Random question 39: Why did they hire these crazy people?

Okay, that's a great question to ask

At ZPA, there are various employees, from the most cheerful, like Jackie and Alanzo, to the calm ones, like Fabian and Zecharian, and finally, the crazy ones

Who was the person who came up with the idea of hiring two lunatics (Chastopher and Keiko) as NURSES? With all due respect, but I would never, ever let either of them even put a bandage on my arm. Oh, and let's not forget Malcolm and Perci, whose lectures must be the best sleeping pill in the world

Honestly, I can't even imagine Winston (the principal) and Zecharian talking about who would be the school's professionals and saying "Hmm, I think two psychopaths and two (extreme) chatterboxes make great professionals 🤠👍"

What do you think about? 5: Spam

I have to say, I was eager to talk about Spam. He's such a cheerful, bouncy fox, seemingly without a care in the world. How can you not love this little creature? 🥹

Spam is an orange fox, with some white patches separated by lines of black fur (I'm considering Bad Luck Jack's design)

Regarding his history... well, not much is known beyond the fact that when he was younger, he saw his father attacked and killed by a pack of wolves, which left him with considerable trauma (as seen in the "Silhouette" animation). Another important point is his relationship with Vanexa, in which, although they never have anything extremely direct, they are commonly seen together, and in artwork such as Valentine's Day images they also appear close, hinting at a romantic relationship (which, like practically everything in Zoophobia, never had much time to develop 🥲)

Regarding his personality, he can be described as the personification of ADHD, in addition to his carefree and cheerful behavior (which, in my opinion, contrasts very well with Vanexa, but let's leave her personality for the next edition of this game 🤫). Another point that demonstrates his happiness is the constant habit of licking people (as seen in the comic with Vanexa and Cameron)
