Rant

Hi,

just like the title siggest, I am going to rant (a little) on my new surface pro 12 (13 inches).

I bought this to replace my i-pad because it has too many glitch (the i-pad) when using onedrive.

The design of the surface pro looks good, the finctionality is there, battery life is amazing… but seriously, who the heck though it would be a good idea to have the thing, when mounted on the keyboard, no capability to hold itself straight. i mean, you always have to work on a table or something to put the back support or the screen just fall backward… one of the main aspect, for me, of this kind of device is that I can sit in my couch when I work and the screen just.. stay upright (like on the i-pad). Now I have this 4000$ device but I cannot sit confortably anywhere expect on a chair with a table because someone never figured out many people (I mean I can’t be the only one) would want to use the device on non-conventional surface or position… That was my ranting, thanks you for reading, have a good day !

Help understand oil price?

hi, maybe the question was already asked .. if so apologies.

I am a little bit confused with the oil market at the moment. The Hormutz strait is supposedly open, yet from information I read it is still only a limited volume of ship that pass and the situation remain tense.

When the “war” started, the oil price skyrocketed and almost all country used their strategic reserve to ease the pain. Yet those reserve are now very limited (are they still being used to cover the oil not shipping?).

So how can oil price go down so quickly when the flow of physical barrel remains strained, incertain, and strategic reserve under high stress?

Also, are strategic reserve being replenished now, or still being used? if the later, the price drop make even less sense. And how long until the situation could get problematic? Thanks for explanation/insight on this.

Newb question

Hi,

I am looking to buy one of the new gen of the surface in the coming weeks (I think it will be the 12th if I am not mistaken?). However, I am very confuse about all the name. They somewhat looks alike and have similar looking.. even the guy at the electro shop I went wasn't exactly sure all the time.

I am moving from an I-pad (I know..).. I got so frustrated with it lately for works I can't bear it any longer. I want a windows based solution. However, I liked the "ergonomics" of the I-Pad (you fold it mid-stance, have the little key-board nice to the touch, etc etc.). It is very convenient for small task... and so I want the same ergonomy (or close to), but under a windows' system. The surface, surface pro, surface pro laptop, surface pro tablet, surface pro business... am confused!

Also, on microsoft' website, you can now buy the 12th gen 13 inch with intel processor.. but everywhere I read they are hyped with the "snapdraggon X2" .. which doesn't seem to be this one. What does it changes and I understand it is not yet available? thanks for the help!

Question about arrhytmia

Hi, I went for a long time recorder and upon receiving the data, they noted AIVR (Accelerated Idioventricular Rythm).

Now I did look a bit on this and it is, by itself, not a concerning arrhytmia it seems. Mostly seen after reperfusion and some substance. As for myself, I never suffered hearth conditions nor used any substance and so I thought I was a "healthy subject"... but it seems this arrhytmia is very very rarely seen in "healthy" individuals.
I've seen a 2016 study who looked at over 1300 healty subject for holter (24 hours) and found 0,3% (3 in total) of this, compared to 40% for PVC for example. Even VT as more incident (0,7%) in this study.

AIVR is also associated with hearth condition like cardiomyopathy. I say this because couple years ago I was discharge on suspition of LVNC (echo showed hypertrabeculation of left ventricule, everything else normal). they discharged me saying I have no symptons hence it's benign.

And so, I am wondering, from a clinical point of view.. an incidental, single event of such AIVR coupled with the echo ... does it hints at something or am I giving too much thought about it?

Doc usually treat thing independantly.. and so they see AIVR and say : bah, this isn't dangerous.
The other doc look at my echo and goes : bah, you have no sympton... do they even talk and put the two pieces togheter at some point?
