41f creative interested in chats

I'm finding it increasingly hard to find people with similar interests. There seems to be a huge focus on exercise, hiking, dog walking, sports etc but I don't see any posts where the people are interested in arts or culture so much.

I'm very introverted, but I really enjoy music, film, literature, and particularly visual arts. I would like to find some people who mentally stimulate me. I'm not *super* smart, but I like to use my brain.

Sleeping pills efficacy

I have been taking 2x quitiapine for sleep for awhile now which has always been hit and miss (more miss than anything) and just this past week I've been given zopiclone (7.5mg) to add to it but it's still not helping me sleep *at all*. I do seem to be having a deeper/longer sleep once I do get to sleep but it's the *getting to sleep* part that I struggle with.

Ive tried a lot of other things; nortriptyline, lorazepam, diazepam, phenergan... I even tried taking 2 zopiclone.... nothing.

I find a lot of them relax my body, which is nice, but nothing relaxes my mind. Including, of course, mind exercises and meditation.

I don't know what else to do, my gp doesn't know what else to do. I would dearly love to hear some personal experiences from people who struggle to keep their brain quiet enough to get to sleep. Maybe find something I can research or bring up with my gp that we haven't already tried? I feel like we've tried everything. Or maybe someone might be able to give some insight into why none of these pills work. I take them, go to bed (in a cool room) and read a little, then put on my sleep mask and try to sleep.
