Waxing usage

How many waxes are you guys getting out of 1 2.2 LB bag 😭 I feel like 3-4 for me max, but when I look it up some say 20-35 lol, like there’s no way? I’m good at waxing, my clients are always happy with how thoroughly I remove the hair, and I do a lot of cleanup strips to make sure 100% of hair is gone. I just feel like I’m doing something wrong?

Trouble finding a balance

So I very thankfully have become fully booked. Around late March, people started messaging me asking if my booking site was broken because there were no spots left lol. It’s honestly a great feeling after working so hard to build clientele, and I don’t really have to hustle for new clients anymore.
BUT… now I feel like I’m running into a different issue.
Clients are booking fills weeks in advance, then canceling week of once they realize there’s no flexibility to reschedule. Not usually last minute thankfully, but I’ll post something like “only 1 spot left in June” and then suddenly 5 people cancel their future appointments. They’re not really rescheduling either, probably because there’s nowhere to move to.
I have a waitlist that I message, but honestly it almost feels like more work being fully booked than when I wasn’t 😭 I’ve been personally messaging clients who cancel online to try to find them another spot, and now I’m answering messages outside my work hours trying to play appointment Tetris.
Is this normal to a certain extent when you get booked out? Is it just busy season/summer? How do you handle this without it becoming draining?
