Found a sinkhole in the jungle in Cayo, barely anyone knows about it

Hiked out to the C2 Sinkhole in Santa Familia Village last week. Took us 50 minutes because we went the wrong way, actual trail is only 10 minutes from the road.

No entrance fee, no crowds, no signs. Just a massive natural drop hidden in the jungle. The view from the edge is unreal.

Anyone else been out here? Feel like this spot deserves way more attention.

C2 Sinkhole, Santa Familia Village, Cayo, Belize

So me and a friend went looking for the C2 Sinkhole in Santa Familia Village, Cayo, Belize. No proper signage, no clear trail markers, we ended up bushwhacking the wrong route for nearly an hour before we spotted the actual path. Took us 10 minutes from there.

The sinkhole itself is insane though. It's near the Santa Familia Sinkholes area and close to Branch Mouth. Not many people know about this spot and honestly that's part of what makes it worth it. I will post some pictures later.

Took some time to appreciate this gem we have right here in San Ignacio. 1,000+ years of history sitting on a hill in the middle of town and most people just drive past it.

If you haven't been, go. If you have, go again.
