Just moved to this neighborhood from Canada with a transfer from work.
What do people do for “fun” in this area?
My wife and kids will be here in a couple weeks. We are 44 and and 42 and the kids are 6 and 4.
Other transplants in this area that have left their family and friends behind for sunshine and low taxes 😆?

Does Florida have insurance brokers like they do in Canada?
What are my options for getting insurance? TIA
Obviously, geographically it falls within the technical definition, but do people from Orlando or Florida consider themselves as a part of the down south?
I was having a conversation with someone about my upcoming transplant-ism (it’s for work and I understand you are “full”). The question that came up was do Orlandoites (?) have that Southern Hospitality (drop bows drop bows).
Understand that I’m moving from Canada where people are generally friendly although that has changed in the last 10 years.
