When do you actually take profits?

Hi everyone,
I’m still fairly new to investing, but I finally decided to start because I find it genuinely interesting. I invested around €30,000, and my portfolio currently looks like this:
Vanguard S&P 500 (VUAA): ~37% (€11.2k)
TSMC: ~19% (€5.7k)
NVIDIA: ~16% (€4.8k)
AMD: ~13% (€3.8k)
ASML: ~9% (€2.7k)
Nebius Group: ~7% (€2.0k)
The portfolio is obviously heavily focused on AI and semiconductors. That’s intentional, because I believe AI still has a lot of long-term growth ahead.
So far, it’s worked out pretty well. I’m up around €1,300 in just two weeks. I know that’s a very short time frame and doesn’t mean much in the long run, but it got me thinking about something I don’t really know the answer to.
When do you actually take profits?
If your investment thesis is simply that AI will keep growing over the coming years, do you just keep holding until something fundamentally changes? Or do you regularly lock in gains?
For example, is it reasonable to think something like: “I believe AI will keep doing well, so I’ll probably hold until around 2028 (when Trump leaves office), unless something changes.” Or is that not how experienced investors think about it?

What stocks should I buy? (Beginner)

Hi everyone,
I’m a complete beginner when it comes to investing. I haven’t read as much as I probably should have, but investing has interested me, so I decided to start instead of waiting until I felt like I knew everything.
I have around €30,000 available to invest. So far, I’ve invested my first ~€20,000, roughly divided as follows:
51.4% – Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUAA)
37.2% – NVIDIA (NVDA)
7.1% – ASMI
4.3% – Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM)
I still have €10,000 left to invest.
I know the obvious advice will probably be: “Don’t invest money until you’ve done more research.” And honestly, that’s fair.
I am continuing to learn and read more every week.
That said, I’m curious:
If you were in my position, how would you allocate the remaining €10k?
Would you add to my current positions or diversify into other sectors/assets?
Are there any stocks or ETFs you think are worth looking into?
My goal is to achieve around 10–15% annual returns over the long term. I know that’s ambitious and definitely not guaranteed, and I’m fully aware of the risks involved.
I’d really appreciate your thoughts and constructive criticism. Thanks!
