Hey everyone, William from PandaVault here with an update on the RSD Batch Travis Scott Mocha High.

For now, we’re only cutting the leather pieces for each section of the shoe in advance. The photo shows the current material preparation.

We expect to have a sample ready in about a week and will share it with you for review. We’ll only begin assembling and producing the full batch after you’ve reviewed and confirmed the sample.

With this leather, only 35% of each hide can be selected for use. We remove sections with natural scars or mismatched grain during selection. Even with careful sorting, a tiny amount of these natural marks or texture variation may still remain.

Brothers, please keep these natural leather characteristics in mind when checking your QC photos, and go a little easy on us! Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The factory we ordered these Timberland boots from previously manufactured retail Timberland pairs.

Y3 is ¥380. It costs more than some other batches because of its construction and materials. This batch uses direct-injected sole construction, with the sole moulded directly onto the upper, rather than the glue-bonded construction used on some budget versions. This process carries higher manufacturing costs, alongside the leather selection and finishing.

The biggest design improvement is the reinforced toe. We added an internal toe puff—a stiffener that supports the toe box and helps it hold its shape during wear. The aim is a firmer, more structured toe that fits the character of a workwear boot.

We bought two retail pairs specifically for this comparison. Even these two retail pairs show differences in their details, so we included both instead of treating a single pair as the only reference. In the three-pair overview, Y3 is the middle pair without a green hangtag. The other two are labelled Retail A and Retail B.

The padded collars use natural top-grain cowhide, selected to match our retail samples. We also paid attention to the overall silhouette, leather, finishing and shoebox presentation. The close-up photos cover the toe, heel, outsole and material details—including the small round moulding marks at the centre of the heel—so you can compare them side by side.

Alongside the photos, we’ve included vehicle-pressure, flex and water-pour demonstration videos. The water-pour comparison includes Retail B. These videos show how the shoes respond during the demonstrations; they are not certified safety or waterproofing tests.

More styles are on the way. Y3 versions of Supreme × Timberland and Louis Vuitton × Timberland styles are planned and will be added in stages. We’ll share the details as each style becomes available.
