Pantheon Risers - Access free 3d files

Hola ya’ll. For anyone who hasn’t seen this yet, if you’re interested in modifying the ride of your Pantheon (or any board for that matter) and want to print your own with yours or a friend’s 3d printer, you can access our free 3d files via this now-live risers page in the accessories tab on our website.

I’ve wanted to offer these for a long time but it took me way more effort than expected to host them ourselves on the website. For the web geeks out there, I had to make a “child theme” to avoid breaking our website should I make a mistake, and then I uploaded some custom code that allowed us to bypass some of the original site limitations. Anyway, glad I got it figured out. There are some great risers out there already, but I know sometimes people want it set up exactly the way we set it up here, and that makes sense. I did not purchase our 3d printer to make extra money but rather to improve our ability to customize setups for customer satisfaction, so the free files solution is really
Ideal for those with the resources! And in general, I don’t like the idea of increasing the carbon footprint of our products by shipping tiny items—especially overseas! So I’m hoping people who want them will use these files. Cheers!

Article I Hope Beginners Will Enjoy

Pantheon Beginner Longboard Guide

Edit, for context:

Earlier this week, I spent half a day trying to help a customer between emails and responding here who bought a Nexus and wished he hadn’t. He got rave reviews from people who enjoyed that board for what it was, and then he also made some assumptions about the deck that turned out to be wrong. This article was primarily a response to that—because a customer got himself a board that really wasn’t suited for what he wanted. I didn’t feel good about that.

I’m trying to bring some clarity to the product line, geared toward beginners who otherwise might not know the differences between why you might choose one over the other. Many of those beginners are going to be told to look at Pantheon products—which they should, as long as they are down with the “buy once, cry once” mantra, as I am when I purchase things. Because super low boards that are easy to ride are very easy to learn on, and even as they grow in their respective skate journeys, many of these boards will never have to be replaced because they’re the best at what they do. I’ve always believed that growing skateboarding starts with making products that are highly accessible to beginners. My design philosophy reflects this, which is why you’ll see a lot of similar boards in this article, and I’ll try to walk beginners through the differences here so that we make happy skaters.
