Caterpillars

Zexmenia plant, with visitors. Last time I had these, I believe they were Bordered Patch! I had forgotten the name of the plant and had to go look it up. My memory never gets any better, only worse.

Texas Milkweed, Asclepias texana.

Blooming good after the rains. In our normally dry climate, I seldom see milkweed blooms this far into summer, but El Nino did this.

Clematis texensis

Surprise! I didn't even know I had this plant any more. Thought it died. Hasn't bloomed in years. I have quite a few Clematis pitcheri plants, but those bloom on a regular basis. This is a single plant, maybe I'll give it more attention.
