My thoughts on Oh Yoko! and The Beatles in General.
Listening to Oh Yoko! for a great song it is sexual, "Our love will turn you on" represents John Lennon and Yoko Ono's resistance to the normal norm and did things that were taboo.. In doing so, they helped create the free society we have today where everyone can be themselves! It represents John Lennon's bottomless love for Yoko Ono, nothing nicer is possible, right? It also reminds me that Yoko Ono is often made the scapegoat for the breakup of The Beatles, but if the Beatles hadn't broken up, all the guys would have hated each other, but worked with each other due to pressure from the fans. It's much nicer that the gang can be friends on terms they can all respect. And we got so much great music from the solo albums. George Harrison's All Things Must Pass and Living in the Material World. So much great music because of Yoko Ono who ended up being hated even after John Lennon was shot by a fan. An I onto something or on something here guys?
