The more I grow up, the more I relate with Boyle
I have always thought that I was more like the characters of Amy or Holt but now after re-watching the series, I feel like I am like Boyle in my life (and in the lives of people around me).

I was wondering if I should buy War And Peace right away, before reading the other books I have on my TBR shelf.
I like History and Fiction and Classic and some online friends have sold me the idea that I SHOULD def go for it first.
Recipe from the internet; used Rusk (Toasts), instant coffee, cocoa powder, paneer, condensed milk, vanilla essence, milk.
Tastes good
I love all the outfits of these sisters in all of the Frozen IP. There are small and meaningful details in every dress and they all look beautiful and intentionally rich and royal while also comforting and simple at the same time. (Idk how to explain what I mean but I hope y'all get it)
The designs and the colours are perfect too! Perfect for the occasion it's made for...
This is the closest I have seen in the outfits of Disney to a real life modern royals wardrobe (for example, the outfits of Claire Foy in the Crown).
I use highlighters and post-it notes and sometimes pencil to annotate while reading.
How do y'all annotate?

P.S.- I have seen those book friendly translucent sticky notes along with book tabs online, but can't find them on Amazon or offline (under budget). Any idea?
I recently realized that there are a few books that feel CANON to my life as a reader.
Not necessarily the best books that I have ever read. Just the ones that permanently shaped my relationship with reading.

I am 19 now, but I first fell in love with books around 4th or 5th standard. I still remember the feeling of carrying library books home, the smell of old pages, the cracked spines, and the excitement of opening a story for the first time.
For me, those books were:
David Copperfield (my first classic, and probably my most important one), Emma, Geronimo Stilton, Ruskin Bond, Out of Time, Oliver Blue and the School for Seers series.

David Copperfield (SCHAND Publications at the time btw) sits at the very top. I have reissued it countless times from my school library. [SPOILER!] I still remember crying over certain chapters and mourning Dora Spenlow when I first read it. Looking back, I was not just reading the stories but was living inside it.
Even today, whenever someone asks me for recommendations, these books find their way...

What was a canon book for you? The books that made you a reader or still feels like a part of you today?
