Hi, I'm creating a log that I can have printed in a lay flat binding to use as a ships log.

Part of this is like a checklist, it forces me to think about some of these things a bit better and more clearly (like tides and speed) plus I really want to have a sort of journal to remember my trips.

My question is: what (if anything) should I put in place of the little sailboat picture on the log? Is there any other information I am forgetting?

I sail in the Chesapeake bay, so I don't need to worry about customs or any of those things that Caribbean sailors have to account for.
