How do I stop Claude from writing like this?

  1. It keeps writing paragraphs after paragraphs of overly long sentences. I guess the goal is to add flavor to the writing, but the result is very clunky.

  2. The uneccesary comparisons every other sentence. When it's not the structure I shared here, it's something like "he spoke with the confidence of a man who blah blah blah". It gets boring fast and the similes often make little to no sense.

I've already tried asking it to stop doing this but I pretty much got ignored.
