Hey everyone.

I'll be visiting Paris next week and plan on exploring the Versailles Palace. I'll be living in Asnières-sur-Seine very close to the Gabriel-Péri station and have planned to park my car for the duration of my stay. I plan to use public transport for my visits to Paris but I was wondering if it would be a good option to visit Versailles Palace using my car since the expected time to reach the palace from Gabriel-Péri is about 1h20min with multiple metro and bus changes.

If I were to travel by car, are there any other things I must keep in mind?

Hi everyone!

I have requested a Verpflichtserklärung for a short-stay family visit. In other cities such as Frankfurt and Munich, the process happens quite quickly with an appointment being booked and all the documents being handed over. The Verpflichtserklärung is then made during the appointment.

In Cologne the process seems to be different. Has anyone recently received the Verpflichtserklärung for a short stay recently and can you please share how long it took you to get it?
