My 5-year-old queen of the night (epiphyllum oxypetalum) bloomed for the 4th time in two summers last night.

I’ve raised her from a rooted cutting I received from a neighbor (after watching theirs bloom one night!). Both years the blooms surprised me when I thought we would truly be joining the compost instead of coming inside for the winter.
