I don't know what changed, but first the widget just didn't work at all, then after the last update they kinda work, but you have to go to the amplenote app almost every time you open your phone or the widget still just says "sign in". That's still unacceptable. I have a finger print lock screen on my device, I neither asked for nor need additional security in my simple task list widget. Overall Android support is abysmal as it is, but at least the widgets used to kinda work.
