Is this acceptable work.
First 2 pics are what I asked for, last 2 are what I got.
Ok I went to a supposedly reputable salon that even has their own extension line to have my hair lightened and extensions installed.
I wanted a blended look and my hair was dark to start off with so I had reasonable expectations. I actually wanted a darker root, just lighter at the ends and I brought in pictures of this. I did say I wanted it as light as possible on the ends.
So she foils my hair and as I’m processing she puts a warm towel that they use a steam towel on your neck while shampooing, she puts one of these on my head and another dry towel on top of that. She checks on me and switches out the towels. She then tones my hair 2 separate times. I was sitting at the shampoo bowl for what seemed like forever.
Then we get done and she starts drying my hair, it’s light at the roots which I didn’t like, I said this but she brushed it off saying the extensions would make it look like my picture. I don’t know I’m not a professional so I trust her.
She then picks out the extension hair, I immediately say I don’t like it, I do not like how it’s striped looking. I wanted something very blended not harsh chunks of different colors she again claims it will all tie together. Once the first row is installed I look in the mirror and again state I do not like it. I was like do not put anymore of that hair on my head I don’t like it, I don’t like what’s in already it’s not what I wanted.
So I finally get her to install the rooted hair I wanted on the top row. She finishes it styles it and I go to pay and there’s some huge issue with my card not running I have to call the card company who still claims they never tried to run the card but anyways it’s this huge ordeal I have to get money sent and transfer to a different card but whatever I pay 1730. I tell them when I’m leaving I don’t like how my hair looks it’s not what I wanted and I want to know when I can come in to have it fixed.
The next day when I’m looking at my hair I’m just so upset it’s not at all what I asked for like I’m upset, I message the salon asking when they can fix it. Long story short I end up going to two different salons and paying a total of another 1000 to fix this work ok, I have to get k tips to try and blend it..I was at this other salon an entire day basically.
I send pictures to the first salon they tell me that’s not my hair. I sent them the receipt for the other salon and asked for a refund they are refusing to refund my money.
I filed a complaint with the state board and now they are saying they will only refund me if I contact them and say I lied about my hair being burned off.
I just want to know if this looks like work that costs 1730.
