Period

It’s actually insane that I have a fear of coming on my period. Every month is worst than the last and every month I tell my boyfriend “this is the worst one yet”. Nothing I do takes the pain away and I just have to ride it out for 5/6 whole days whilst still working and trying to be positive. I’m lucky that the endo doesn’t hurt me 24/7 but when it does it really fucks me up

20 dpo

I’m so confused I’m 6 days late on my period and I am never ever late I have really regular periods maximum 2 days late if that! I keep testing negative but I don’t know what other reason it could possibly be. Unless I’m just not seeing a line if there’s one there but I doubt it

Endometrioma

I was in hospital in October 2025 due to severe abdominal pain and shooting pain in my lower right side. I was in for 3 nights when they finally told me I had a 1.9cm cyst on my right ovary, I was discharged and told it would be monitored. In December it was measured again at 2.8cm and then on April at 4.8cm when they then said it was an endometrioma and asked if I had endometriosis. I told them I had always thought I might have it due to me extremely painful periods but had always been dismissed. A few years ago they had told me I have a bicornuate uterus which could be the cause of my painful periods? Since being out of hospital I haven’t had the same kind of pain as I did but I do get twinges of pain in my right side, I presume it’s from the cyst but not sure. I’m now on the waiting list for surgery and have my pre op on 26th June and an MRI to check for DIE on 29th June. I have had such bad anxiety about the cyst rupturing as online it says I would need immediate medical attention and surgery but looking on these pages I’ve seen people saying they have just left it when it’s ruptured and have been fine? I suppose my question is what are other peoples experiences? Has anyone else had one growing in a similar way? And should I be worried about it rupturing or is that really rare?

Endometrioma and holiday!

I am currently on holiday and about to go to Land of legends water/theme park. I have a endometrioma cyst on my right ovary last measured in April at 4.8cm. I should be ok to go on waterslides and rollercoasters shouldn’t I? It’s not causing me any pain just get the odd twinge in it sometimes.
