Where can i find an historical, autentic recording of the National Socialist anthem “Horst Wessel Lied?”

I’ve been surfing ebay but couldn’t find it.
On Discogs any remaining sale is just banned for the ideologial affinity…

Why YOU should study Czerny

There is an ever growing dismissal of the validity of C.Czerny’s etudes (namely op.299 and ones alike), but i remain firm on the idea that they are of the utmost importance and provide great benefit to the beginner and advanced player alike: I will attempt to prove my point using the first etudes of “Die Schule der Geläufigkeit “ op.299:
To play these etudes without injury nor strain, one must be completely and utterly relaxed in the playing, having complete control over any tension one may be holding.
In a Beethoven Sonata, it is easy to hold tension in difficult passages and not realize it, as the writing there often provides rest to the player, even if for a short time.
When looking at the writing of the first etude or the second of op.299, Czerny concedes essentially no rest to the player’s hands, thus rendering tension free playing not only recommended, but vital.
Having said all of this, it is important to make the point that a student should spend the vast majority of its time practicing, well, real music, and there is a point to be made that a great deal of Czerny’s etudes of the later books and opuses are outdated in the sense that they don’t prepare you for the modern demands of piano playing, especially of the virtuosi composers of the late 19th and 20th century, rather they are built on a quite old View of the keyboard, rooted in the Viennese school of piano playing.

Is submarine only germany viable?

I’ve seen others do it but they are pretty old playthroughs.
Is this playstyle viable in 2026?

What do you think about the Yamaha C3X?

I was thinking about buying one, although the “old school” always had a bad opinion of Yamaha pianos. I never really cared for their other models, never struck me as exceptionally well performing; but i’ve heard many say that this is model is completely different.
Granted, i am a student and that would be the purpose of the piano: to study on.

Repertoire recommendation for competitions?

For reference, i’m 15 and i’ve played in some competitions with these pieces:
Rachmaninov op.23/5
Chopin op.48 no.1
Chopin op.17 no.4
Chopin op.34 no.3
Haydn sonata Hob XVI50
Bach WTK 1 D minor

As you can see, Chopin is clearly not lacking, and i need to propose to my teacher some new pieces to learn.
I originally wanted to do chopin’s ballade no.3, but maybe more Chopin isn’t the right call now?
So, could someone propose me a fairly challenging, late romantic and/or an early 20th century modernist piece suited for competitions?

P.S. I’m already adding another prelude and fugue from Bach to the repertoire.

Want to get started with Scriabin:

Just to give you an idea of my level, i’ve just finished performing in a competition (Where i did resoneably well) playing Rachmaninov’s op.23 no.5 among the famous op.17 no.4 by Chopin. I wanted to approach a late romantic composer and the first one that came to my mind is A.Skrjabin.
I’m looking for a work of his that falls neither in his very early Chopinian style of composing, nor in the complex and daring atonal late stage of his writing.
If it could be technically a step up or at least comparable to the mentioned pieces, it would be great.
