EDIT: It's not just the wifi, my 10a is failing to send photos to another iphone.

Was sending photos from Google Photos to an iPhone 16 via Quick Share. The transfer was moving at a continental drift speed right after the Wi-Fi connection randomly dropped.

I cancelled the stuck transfer, and now the Wi-Fi radio has completely given up on life:

- No networks showing: The Wi-Fi settings page is totally blank, and toggling it does nothing.

- Mobile data is fine: 5G works normally, so it's strictly the Wi-Fi stack that crashed.

It feels like Quick Share hard-locked the Wi-Fi module during the handoff. Has anyone else run into this on the 10a? Is there a quick trick to revive the Wi-Fi stack without doing a full reboot or nuclear network reset?

Wanted to share the specific stats I look at before sending a proposal.

Here is my checklist:

• Hire Rate: I look for 60-70% or higher.
• Total Spent & Avg. Hourly Rate: A client who has spent $500+ and pays $10+/hr understands the value of professional audio. For beginners with 0 jobs yet on Upwork, I used to settle on lower pays, but it has increased with time as your portfolio grows.
• Proposals vs. Interviews: 5 to 15 proposals with 0 to 3 interviews is a sweet spot.
• Payment Verification: Should be verified, non-negotiable.

A few other things:
- Do not go for small jobs <$20 or $30 unless you are a beginner and really desperate.
- Do not agree to do a "test" task unless a contract is opened, specially if it takes more than 1-2 hours of your time.

Has anyone else noticed a huge discrepancy between the public job activity stats and the actual insights after applying?

I recently came across a job posting that looked like a great fit. I checked the "Activity on this job" section, and it clearly stated there were "Less than 5" proposals. Seeing the low competition, I spent some time crafting a solid proposal and submitted it.

However, right after applying, I checked the Insights tab for my proposal, and it shows there are actually 17 proposals (9 opened, 8 unopened)!

Is the public "Activity on this job" section just severely delayed in updating, or is this a known glitch? It's a bit frustrating because I carefully prioritize my connects and often target jobs with fewer applicants to improve my chances.

Would love to hear if others are experiencing this or if anyone knows why there's such a massive delay in the public stats.

EDIT: 1. The public job overview still shows less than 5 proposals. 2. The job was posted 3 hours ago when I started submitting my proposal - so no way less than 5 people applied in 3 hours then 12 more applied within the same 10 min it took me to prepare and submit my proposal.

I am an Upwork Freelancer Plus member and feel like wasting my connects on availability badge. Should I turn it off and try experimenting with turning the "profile boost" ON instead?
