I finally want to get serious about Dofus, but I’m kind of lost and I mostly play solo.

Hey everyone!

So, I’ve always really loved MMOs, but I have a problem: I usually start playing, get VERY addicted for a while, and eventually quit. Lmao.

Dofus is kind of the exception. It’s a game that always ends up coming back to my mind and that, somehow, has always had a special place in my heart.

I played quite a lot in 2021, completely solo, and got to around level 120. At the time, I basically discovered the game on my own — doing quests, exploring, getting gear, etc. — and I had SO MUCH FUN.

Now I’ve come back again and I’m playing a Sadida. I’m around level 100, and this time I really want to COMMIT to the game and eventually reach endgame.

The problem is that I’ve realized that, despite having played several times, I actually know VERY LITTLE about how Dofus really works.

I know how to play my character and handle the basics, but as soon as I start thinking about things like:

  • gear progression
  • making kamas
  • professions
  • important quests
  • Dofus
  • dungeons
  • how endgame actually works
  • what I should be doing at each level range

…I get completely lost. Lmao.

I’m also MUCH more of a PvE player than a PvP player. I like exploring, doing quests, fighting monsters and running dungeons, and gradually becoming stronger.

And I play solo quite a lot.

I have absolutely no problem playing with other people, and I’d actually love to find a guild and some people to play with eventually, especially for content that requires a group. But I’ll probably spend a good portion of my time playing solo.

So I’d really love to hear from you guys:

  1. Is Dofus pretty chill to play mostly solo?
  2. Is it realistic to reach endgame as someone who plays alone most of the time?
  3. What would you recommend for someone who genuinely wants to learn the game instead of simply rushing to 200?

I don’t want to rush. Actually, I want to do the opposite: this time I want to understand the game, do the quests, explore, and eventually reach endgame knowing what I’m doing.

If you have any advice, especially from people who play/played mostly solo, or from Brazilians who have been in a similar situation, I’d REALLY appreciate it!

And, to be completely honest, I’m also looking for people to play with. I’ve always played MMOs, but I end up playing alone, and I think that contributes quite a lot to me eventually dropping the game.

So if there’s any Brazilian who’s starting/coming back to Dofus and would like to go on a journey toward endgame together, that would be really cool.
