Gibson SG Junior (demo) finish
I came across a Gibson SG Junior that was sold as a used demo (stamped on back of headstock) but in excellent condition. Apparently it was supposed to be a cherry finish but it turned out a bit more natural brown than their usual finishes. It ended up in the Gibson demo shop for this reason.
I thought it was an interesting one given the color and wood grain which really stands out. I have a 45 day return policy on it. I do like the guitar but realize that I’d never get near what I paid for it if I ever decided to sell due to it being a demo model. Plus the wood grain may be a little too much for some folks as it’s not completely uniform across the body. So I am trying to decide to keep it or return and look for a different SG.
Thoughts on this one?
