10 Year Success Story As A Diffuse Thinner

10 Year Success Story As A Diffuse Thinner

Hey Guys,

30M here. Figured I would share an update as a Diffuse Thinner who started losing his hair at 20.

I started taking finasteride at 23 after the thinning became very noticeable. While taking finasteride, I began shaving my head because I liked the look and had a negative experience with itchiness from using toppik and dermmatch. This went on until I was 25 years old when I discovered that Caboki only uses all-natural hair fibers that did not itch my scalp. I then switched to short hairstyles reinforced by caboki.

Short hair is the only look I can maintain that looks attractive. I just apply caboki and the thinning is far less noticeable. My despair evaporated the second I discovered the product. People treat me way better and I feel more confident in my daily life.

At 26 years old, I actually switched to dutasteride and have been using it ever since. Overall, I would say that dutasteride recovered my crown area while giving me minor gains at the front and midscalp.

Here are a list of all the treatments I have tried in the last 10 years:

- nizoral shampoo: did nothing

- minoxidil: did nothing

- microneedling: did nothing

- oral minoxidil: thickened my eyebrows and gave me heart flutters so i quit

- finasteride: prevented further loss

- dustasteride: made gains in the crown area

- toppik: too itchy

- dermmatch: the colors were off

- caboki: works perfectly to hide loss

My current routine is to take dustasteride 3 to 5 days per week and apply caboki each morning. Then get a haircut once per month. I have been doing this routine for 4 years and will continue for the forseeable future.

A photo of my scalp has been included here as an example of my hair situation as well (without hair fibers applied).
