An anime I created that was based on ZNT
So I remembered watching Zero no Tsukaima back in middle school. Now I know how some of you feel about it but while I agree it has it's fair share of problems. Some that I put in my other post. It still holds a special place in my heart and probably has the best ending I ever seen in some anime. So because of that I remembered that I was inspired to create an anime based on it. I called Kakyū. It was about a 14 year old emo boy named Ryuujin Kyougoku, most call him Ryuu. He has has brown spiky hair and blue eyes. He has eyebags underneath his eyes. He's usually always so serious. He usually wears dark clothes.
A few days before his 15th birthday he called out for his Familiar and then this cute little creature appeared to be his Familiar. Ryuu decided to call him, Zachary. He's an Onajmino, which is a made up made up creature I invented. He's the opposite of Ryuu in personality as Zachary is happy and childish. Probably because Zachary is actually a baby for his race. But he is one of the few Familiars that can talk. Although he talks more like a like child. He also always speaks in third person and always addresses Ryuu as Master. Zachary is about 4 inches. He is covered in thin light blue fur. Zachary is supposed to be very cute. He has big eyes, similar to the Power Puff Girls only Zachary's eyes are red. Red eyes with black pupils and big highlights on his eyes. Zachary also only has two fangs. Zachary only has one nostril as he doesn't really have a nose. Similar to the Power Puff Girls, Zachary doesn't have any hands or feet, just stumps. Zachary also has a tail similar to a squirrel only his tail is a lot more curly on the tip and it's facing towards his back than away around, as his tail tip is facing towards Zachary's back, the opposite of where a squirrel tail faces.
Despite everything Zachary is very powerful. He can fly, he has super speed, he has super strength, and super durability. He can breathe in space and underwater. He can regenerate. He has camouflage. He has binocular, thermal, night, and X-ray vision. He can make electric force fields. He is immune to poison and venom. He has fire and ice powers. He can shoot lightning and has laser vision. He has electroreception. He can spin around so fast he can create tornados. He can spray tear gas out of the tip of his tail. Zachary also has great hearing despite not having any visible ears, as Zachary doesn't have ears, he has ear canals but they's hidden under his fur. And that's not all, Zachary has plenty of other powers. Zachary is powerful despite only being 4 inches tall.
However Ryuu always finds Zachary annoying and hates how he is. Zachary tries to do everything for his master but would mess up because he would have no control of his powers and would misunderstand Ryuu making things worse. It got so bad to the point Ryuu decided to call Zachary, Zero instead because that's how he see him. Ryuu was a total jerk to Zachary and would always insult him, especially how Ryuu hates he has to babysit him since Zachary is basically a baby for his species. Zachary just takes whatever insult Ryuu gives him. Ryuu stating how he wished he never met him. Zachary gave his cat-like smile but he cried as soon as Ryuu left. Ryuu is supposed to be wrong as everyone calls him out.
The real reason Ryuu hated Zachary was because he reminded him too much of him when he was a kid. The other reason was because Ryuu got dumped by his girlfriend the day after Ryuu got Zachary. Usually every fight had both the master and Familiar fighting together. Usually around season one Zachary would always win since he was too strong but halfway through season 1, Zachary lost for the first time. He still had a long way to go. When Ryuu apologized to Zachary during the last episode of season 1, Zachary felt love and he got up and was at full power. Turns out that was what they needed. They needed to get along to use their full potential and defeated the main villain of season 1.
Since then Ryuu and Zachary got along better. Ryuu still had his cold and sarcastic personality. Pretending he doesn't care about Zachary but deep down he does, and Zachary knows because he can feel his heart. As the series continued they were supposed to make new friends along the way.
Such as this 16 year old boy Kyle who had white hair, blue eyes, wore a suit, was tall and a gentleman but was much stronger than Ryuu. Kyle's Familiar was a dark dragon who could fly at high speeds and breathed fire. Another friend they made was Sávio, he was a red haired boy with green eyes and was pervert but he was weaker than Ryuu. His familiar was a tiger named Ryota.
Every warrior in this series has their own magic weapon because people can't use magic as magic comes from their weapons but their Familiars must be the one to pick it for you. Kyle had a spear that can control thunder and lightning. Sávio had claws that could control fire. Ryuu on the other hand had a regular sword and he didn't understood why, why did Zachary picked this sword for him? But it wasn't until Ryuu realized it wasn't the weapon, it was the man. As Ryuu had to rely on his own strength to use it. Plus his sword was magic since it was indestructible but there was no way of knowing since he never tested it out. And while Ryuu's sword couldn't control the elements, Ryuu can use air based attacks by swinging his sword hard enough.
There were going to be some plot points such as Ryuu meeting someone new to be with in a relationship and his ex girlfriend returning only to find out she was actually a villain. Then there was saving the world from their evil king and stuff like that. I stopped drawing it in high school because it was such a dumb thing as it was a dumb kid's work. But what do you guys think?
