“vibey” spots Queenstown - similar to Amisfield (which is closed for renno)
I’m looking for “vibey” (for lack of a better word) spots in Queenstown for my husbands birthday this week, and aiming to put together a bit of a “birthday crawl” of things he loves for us to do throughout the day.
we’re visiting from Aus and have been here before and he loved Amisfield winery but just found out it’s currently closed for renovations :(
We have a car, and happy to drive albeit we have a toddler so probably within a 1hr drive radius from Queenstown
So looking for recs based on things he loves:
- “vibey” spaces like Amisfield wine bar
- good reading spots, e.g. cafes that are lowkey and could sit for an hour or so to read
- loves a steak tartare
- random but also loves a lobster roll, whether that’s from a food truck or restaurant
- also loves apple pie/apple crumble
