How to move less? Be less scared?

Light sparred today. I always use my foot to get out of range. But I need to establish my offense...feels like running away all the time. How to be less scared? What drills can I do? Spar more?

I’m the guy with blue gloves (full black clothes)

Ducks quacking a lot🦆🦆

I have three Pekin ducks, one male and two female, all are 4 months old. One of the females keeps quacking loud all the time. I understand ducks are loud but, is there something bothering her? She has the loudest quack and she’s bigger than the rest.

I should probably get only males next time. They make no sound at all.

Tried being a southpaw!

I usually spar as an orthodox and drill the same. But I did shadowbox and hit the bag sometimes as a southpaw to work on the other hand. I switched to southpaw on the last round (around 5:00 in the video). It just felt so natural to me because of my little shadowbox now and then. Also, please note that I’ve been healing from a dislocated left shoulder for a long time which made my lead hand slightly weaker as an orthodox boxer. Do fighters get to choose their stance due to injuries and be comfortable in the ring?

We were just sparring because I’ve been off for sometime and I wanted to see if I can throw some punches.
*Didn’t actually plan to work on a specific thing on this spar.*

Do you think I should turn into a southpaw full-time? I really like how I can use my lead hand with different jabs and hooks along with a few slip counters.

Light sparring. Please critique.

I’m the one in black(red gloves).

So, I’ve been working on some of the basic drills since my last video such as not breaking my posture often, staying in the pocket and blocking punches. Some worked, a lot didn’t.

We started with light sparring and somehow ended with touch sparring. I know, we were goofing around at times but most importantly we’re just trying to improve😬.

I’m the taller fighter and wanted to keep him at bay on this session. I usually catch jabs and establish my own with a long guard but somehow, I didn’t catch any punches for no reason. It just didn’t strike my mind at all to catch jabs which is quite worrying. I also kinda shell up when he closes the distance quick and I always think about getting out of range. I’d prefer a counter and get out of range like a check hook(but never did).👎🏽 Overall, it felt nice to get in the ring and have some fun with it.

Do suggest me nice Outboxers like Bivol so I can watch and learn from their fights.

If you got time, please watch the 9 mins video and critic my skills(btw we are beginners) and my partner’s. We’d get better.

P.S: This was shot on 0.5x, so it might look a bit weird.

This goldfish’s wen started to turn white like a few weeks back and it seems like it’s spreading to the body. Is this a disease? He seems very normal and active all the time.

He’s currently in a 50gal tank with other fish. About water parameters: No clue but I know it’s time for a small water change.

I’m the one in white gloves. So, yesterday we agreed on a light touch spar. I don’t think he ever touch sparred or light sparred someone. He started swinging hard and he said it’s only speed, there’s no power🫨.

Here’s what I wanted to improve - I wanted myself not to break my posture often. But his power swings made me panic and was even afraid to throw my counters. I saw the video in slow motion, I saw how both of us keep our hands low most of the times, him particularly more. I was wondering “man, what a chance to throw those check hooks and pull counters”. I don’t feel any pain post sparring but I regret holding back because of fear.

A little backstory - I dislocated my left shoulder last year, and I feel it might happen again, if I go for lead hooks there’s a chance it may get mistimed by his power punches. I don’t wanna spend months on recovery again before I can box again. I’ve really improved a lot since the beginning when I started to touch spar. But these guys make me question “do I really belong here, what if I dislocate my shoulder again if I throw my lead hook?”

You are most welcomed to critique my boxing skills. I wanna improve one day at a time.
