Looking for a recommendation for a professional translation service for my German birth certificate. I'm applying for Irish citizenship by decent. TIA!
I received notification this week about my FBR application. I was born in Germany while my father was stationed there while in the military. I submitted my "US Consular Report of Birth Abroad" certificate from the state department but got this email requesting:

"Original civil birth certificate (showing parental details)
​
-You did submit a US Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Please submit your German birth certificate or (if applicable) a letter from the local German registry office stating they will not issue a German birth certificate."

Not sure where to start! Do I need to contact someone in Germany or would a Germany Embassy be where I begin?
