€295k for a derelict cottage??

Hi all, I've been looking at this near westport:

https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/rosmoney-westport-co-mayo/6643964

Lovely spot, but I'm struggling to see the value at €295k. It's derelict, the site is only about 0.3 acres right beside the sea, and the hill and boundary are directly behind the house.

I have real doubts about whether a new compliant septic system could ever fit on a site this small and this close to the water?

Has anyone dealt with planning for replacement houses on small coastal sites like this?

Interested in honest opinions on the price too.

Which marketing tasks should companies stop hiring full-time roles for?

A few marketing functions really do benefit from someone in-house... usually the ones tied to strategy, brand, and owning the growth number day to day.

But a lot of the actual execution work seems like it could just as easily go to a freelancer, agency, or fractional hire:

SEO / content optimization

PPC & paid social management

social media management

email marketing & automation

copywriting / blog content

landing page & CRO

display / programmatic ads

influencer & affiliate management

web analytics & reporting

marketing automation (HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.)

Curious where other people land on this.

What's the one marketing role you'd always keep in-house, and what was the first thing you were glad to hand off?
