I‘m a new parent of Devon Rex kitty and she’s also my first pet. She’s about 9 months old now.

I notice that she scratches her front ears area, back of her ears quite often. I took her to the doctor two weeks ago and the doctor did tell me she has yeast otitis externa; they prescribed Medex drop for my cat.

I wonder if my cat scratching herself is common for cats in general or should I be concerned about foodallergies.
