Billy Butcher (The Boys Show) VS Billy Butcher (The Boys Comic)

Which version of Billy Butcher do you think would win if they both had to fight? The one from the TV show ended up getting powers that were a lot different from the comic version, but they were both generally high tier supes in their worlds. Would comic Butcher's general 50x enhanced strength and durability along with his fighting skills be better than show Butcher's cancer tentacles?

Both Butchers are at peak and have crowbars.

Here are their Respect Threads, though Show Butcher's isn't fully up to date: Comics Butcher and Show Butcher

  • Round 1: Final Episode Show Butcher fights Comic Butcher.

  • Round 2: Show Butcher has his Temp V powers instead.

Kingpin (Marvel 616) VS An Unarmored Space Marine (WH40k)

A Space Marine from WH40k is marginally better than a generic Marvel 616 Super Soldier, right? Kingpin has also shown himself to be superior to Super Soldier types a few times. How do you think his freakish strength and ridiculous skill would stack up against an Astartes? The dude has bodied Red Skull with a peak body and gave Captain America and Black Panther decent thrashings in the past, but would he be able to fight off one of the Emperor's angels?

Kingpin is at unamped peak wearing a normal suit. Space Marine is unarmored, unarmed, and doesn't have any extensive augmetics. He can be from any geneseed, but doesn't have any spicy extras.

  • Round 1: Kingpin versus a Firstborn

  • Round 2: Kingpin versus a Primaris

  • Round 3: Kingpin versus a named Chapter Master

The Park Crew (Regular Show) VS The Teen Titans (Teen Titans)

The Park Crew from Regular Show has to steal something from Titans Tower this week. They don't get very far before running into the Teen Titans. The two groups fight. Who wins? Would the Park Crew's ridiculous feats be enough to keep up with some mid tier superheroes? Would Robin's fighting skill just be too much for even Skips? How does the fight go down?

Teen Titans are Robin, Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy

Park Crew is Mordecai, Rigby, Benson, Skips, Muscle Man, Hi Five Ghost, and Pops

Fight takes place on an abandoned city street. Everyone is fighting seriously.

Respect Threads: Robin, Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Mordecai and Rigby

  • Round 1: Everyone is at base power level. No extra equipment or powerups. Pops doesn't have his final season powers.

  • Round 2: Everyone gets all of their equipment and powerups. Pops still doesn't have his final season powers.

  • Round 3: Pops gets his final season powers. Teen Titans also get Teen Titans Go! feats.

How many US soldiers would it take to bring down each type of Thanos's minions? (MCU)

Some grunts from the US Army have been called in to stop Thanos instead of The Avengers. How many would it take to bring down each type of Thanos's various minions?

The battle takes place in a field with some rubble strewn around. The US soldiers are Army Infantrymen with a basic kit. They each have a rifle, plenty of ammo, and a couple frag grenades. They are 21-25 and have seen combat before. Everyone starts 100 feet apart.

If the number goes over 100 then they get to call in some sort of support. Heavier weapons, armor, air support, etc. What does it take?

How many soldiers does it take to bring down:

  • A Chitauri

  • A Sakaaran

  • An Outrider

  • A Chitauri Gorilla

  • Proxima Midnight

  • Corvus Glaive

  • A Leviathan

  • Cull Obsidian

  • Ebony Maw

  • An Ultron Sentry (I know he wasn't related to Thanos, but they were some fun minions)

Koukoku (Koukoku no Shugosha) VS The Fire Nation (ATLA)

Two fantasy versions of Japan fight each other. Who is going to win when Koukoku from Koukoku no Shugosha (Imperial Guards) and The Fire Nation from Avatar: The Last Airbender go to war? Who wins, the one with iron ships and fire magic or the one with sabretooth tigers and guns?

  • Koukoku has guns, artillery, psychic communication and recon, pterosaur riders, and sabretooth tigers in the military, but they're working with horse drawn carriages and a fairly small navy of mostly wooden sailing ships.

  • The Fire Nation has iron ships, airships, tanks, and fire magic, but they have no guns or cannons or anything.

Both sides have advantages, but which do you think would prove superior in an all out war? Do iron ships outrank guns in a war? Are long distance comms more important than flamethrowers?

Both nations are from the beginning of their series and no longer fighting any other wars. There is no Sozin's comet.

  • Round 1: The Fire Nation is invading.

  • Round 2: Both sides are fighting over a neutral nation.

  • Round 3: Naoe Shinjou and Chihaya versus Zuko.

Katara, Toph, and Zuko (ATLA) VS Spider-Man (MCU)

How well would the characters from Avatar do in a world of superheroes? They're clearly pretty dangerous, but how do you think their powers and skills stack up in a universe where guys can destroy world? Obviously if they were dropped into the MCU they're not gonna beat Thor, but could they beat Spider-Man in a 3v1?

Everyone is at unamped peak, in character, and fighting seriously. There are no civilians to worry about.

Respect Threads: Spider-Man, Katara, Toph, Zuko

  • Round 1: Fight by the East River. Spider-Man has his normal suit.

  • Round 2: Fight in Times Square. Spider-Man has the Iron Spider Suit.

  • Bonus Round: Who is the most powerful MCU character Katara, Toph, and Zuko could each beat by themselves?

UniSol (Universal Soldier) VS Super Soldier (MCU)

Before Captain America and a slew of other MCU Super Soldiers hit the big and small screens, there was the Universal Soldier series. The corpses of American soldiers who died in action were reanimated with low level super powers to be secret super special forces for the government. How do you think these guys would stack up against the current super soldier meta? Would the superhero action choreography of an MCU character give them too much of an advantage? Would a UniSol's freakish toughness and survivability give them the win?

Who would win if a UniSol fought a Super Soldier? Assume everyone is unarmed and the fight takes place in a warehouse.

For reference the John Walker Respect Thread, and some Universal Soldier fight scenes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

  • Round 1: Unnamed UniSols and Super Soldiers. Like one of Karli's gang versus the unnamed mook UniSols from the first one.

  • Round 2: Named characters. Like John Walker or Steve Rogers versus JCVD's Luc Deveraux or Scott Adkins' John.

  • Bonus Round: Would anything change if everyone was armed to the teeth?

Ultramarines 2nd Company (WH40k) VS Every Monster in the 2025 Monster Manual (D&D)

A kid somewhere in Ultramar got his hands on a cursed 20 sided die and accidentally summoned every monster from the 2025 Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual. Coincidentally, on the same day Titus and the Ultramarines 2nd Company were having a parade on the next street over. Who wins when the two groups fight? Are there enough magic monsters to make up for the difference in firepower? Are some things like a Colossus, Elemental Cataclysm, or Tarrasque too much to handle without artillery? Does sheer volume of fire and the lack of blanket nonmagical damage immunity make this a slaughter?

Battle takes place in a city identical to modern Chicago. No one can leave until the other side is dead. Ultramarines 2nd Company is at full strength, but with no vehicles or other support. Monsters won't attack each other, but aren't working together unless they naturally would. If something can't be permanently killed then generally destroying once it is fine, like with a Lich. Assume powers and abilities are as compatible as possible.

  • Round 1: The monsters just appear. Neither side gets any warning or prep.

  • Round 2: The monsters get a month to set up in Chicago. They Space Marines know what they're walking into and have been fully briefed on every monster. They still can't bring any vehicles or support.

Who is the weakest One Piece character who would beat a Custodes in a fight? (One Piece/WH40k)

The Custodes have noticed a weird world all covered in water and islands with some horrid magic that might end up being dangerous to the Emperor. The world of One Piece is apparently in the WH40k galaxy. The Emperor's personal guards send one Custodes to investigate and maybe pick up the One Piece if it's convenient. As well engineered as they are, the golden armored guardian quickly finds himself out of his depth. He isn't going to be able to solo the anime world, but who would be the weakest that beats him? Does it take someone from CP9? Could Don Krieg get it done? Would the character need Haki? Would Buggy just be unbeatable?

Who do you think it would take from One Piece to beat one of the Adeptus Custodes? Assume powers and abilities are as compatible as possible. Fight takes place wherever from any era.

  • Round 1: It's a basic Custodes.

  • Round 2: It's Constantin Valdor.

Magneto and the Brotherhood replace The Avengers. How do they do? (MCU/X-Men Movies)

The Avengers don't exist, so Nick Fury is willing to give the premier mutant supremacists some concessions if they'll agree to be his attack dogs. Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants from the Fox X-Men movies replace The Avengers in each movie. How do they do? Can they succeed and keep the world safe?

Assume everyone is fighting seriously and the battles go down roughly like they did in the movies, even if they wouldn't with characters missing.

  • Round 1: Magneto and the X-Men 1 Brotherhood (Mystique, Toad, Sabretooth) in the final battle of The Avengers.

  • Round 2: The Brotherhood adds Pyro from X2 and they have to do the final battle in Age of Ultron.

  • Round 3: The Brotherhood adds everyone from The Last Stand (Juggernaut, Callisto, Arclight, Multiple Man, spike guy, quill guy, all the unnamed randos) and they have to defend Wakanda. Thanos, the Wakandans, and Jean Grey aren't around and won't show up.

  • Round 4: The Brotherhood adds everyone from First Class and Dark Phoenix (Emma Frost, Angel Salvadore, Azazel, Riptide, Selene, Ariki) and they have to fight everyone from Endgame.

  • Round 5: Magneto versus Thanos. Can Magneto defeat him unarmed? With any Infinity Stones?

Lion El'Jonson tries to take down each of the Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. Can he defeat them all? (WH40k/Pokemon)

Lion El'Jonson is taking a walk through the forest when he runs into some extra dangerous beasties. He has to fight the Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon from the Pokemon anime. He's not a trainer, so he's going to throw down with these monsters himself like he used to back on Caliban. Can he win? Does a Primarch beat some of the most dangerous Pokemon that a normal trainer is liable to encounter? Is Pokemon scaling and anime BS just too much for WH40k guys on the ground to stack up?

The Lion fights each of the 10 Pseudo-Legendaries. Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Goodra, Kommo-o, Dragapult, Hisuian Goodra, and Baxcalibur. It's not a gauntlet. He fights them each individually with whatever equipment he wants.

  • Round 1: 30k Lion.

  • Round 2: 40k Lion.

  • Round 3: It's the Mythical Pokemon instead.

  • Bonus Round: What's the most powerful Pokemon Lion El'Jonson beats? The weakest that beats him?

Can one level 20 character from every class in D&D stop Thanos and his army from Endgame? (MCU/D&D5e)

Instead of the Avengers coming from a bunch of portals it's a level 20 Artificer, Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, and Wizard to meet Thanos and his army. Can the 13 high level Dungeons & Dragons characters take on a comic book movie army? These guys are at the level of saving the world, so this should be solidly in their wheelhouse, right?

No Avengers or other heroes are present. The Infinity Gauntlet is in a Bag of Holding that's being kept from Thanos until everyone is defeated. The D&D characters have level appropriate equipment but nothing game breaking. The specifics of the characters like race, subclass, equipment, spells, etc are up to you as long as cheese level is minimal.

  • Round 1: No prep. Only Thanos and his ground forces are present.

  • Round 2: The D&D characters get a week of prep to take on Thanos and all of his forces.

Danny Ocean has just been released from prison and decides to pull his biggest job yet. He's going to steal the Declaration of Independence because there's a map to a secret treasure on the back. He gathers his ten associates and gets to work. Can Ocean's Eleven steal the Declaration of Independence like Benjamin Gates did?

The team has one month to make it happen.

Respect Ocean's Eleven

  • Round 1: Original 2001 movie Eleven.

  • Round 2: They get everyone from Ocean's Twelve and Thirteen, but the FBI and National Archives are informed that someone is going to make a run at it.

  • Bonus Round: They have to kidnap the president like Ben had to in National Treasure 2. Can they pull it off?

Ben Solo, AKA Kylo Ren, got Isekied into the MCU after he died in Star Wars. He starts doing his outer space stuff and comes into conflict with the bunch of a-holes knows as the Guardians of the Galaxy. If he were to fight each of them individually, who could he beat? How does the MCU's premier cosmic superhero team stack up against Star Wars stuff?

Kylo is at peak and has his lightsaber. The Guardians are each at unamped peak with normal equipment. Fights take place in a space forest. It isn't a gauntlet. Kylo is at peak health for each fight.

Respect Kylo Ren!

Sheev Palpatine has decided it would be easier to conquer Kanto than the entire galaxy. He'll take over a Pokemon Gym and work from there. He brings his main man Darth Vader to act as his muscle and beat up any Pokemon that trainers try to bring his way. He didn't get around to fabricating badges, so he really doesn't want to lose. What sort of Pokemon would it take to beat Darth Vader in a battle? Does Ash's Pikachu just shock him to death like Palpatine did? Can Jessie's Wobbaffet reverse every attack right back at him? Would Sabrina's Kadabra be able to beat him in telekinesis? Is it taking something like Mew or Rayquaza blasting the psychic cyborg killing machine to dust?

Pokemon are anime version. They can be wild, with a trainer, belong to another Gym Leader, or whatever. Vader is canon. Battlefield is an arena with multiple elements present like water, earth, rock, ice, plants, etc.

How does Pokemon scaling compare to top tier Star Wars power? What is the weakest Pokemon that would be able to take down Darth Vader in a battle?

The four Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings ended up as quite accomplished adventurers and warriors by the end of their quest to destroy the One Ring and the Scouring of the Shire. How do you think these small folk would stack up in Game of Thrones? If Merry, Pippin, Sam, and Frodo fought The Mountain, who would win? Gregor is an accomplished warrior and generally huge dude, but Merry helped kill the Witch-King, Pippin killed a troll, Sam fought off Shelob, and Frodo is also there. Would the marginally higher scaling of a world like LOTR make even the humble Hobbits superior to all but the absolute best in GOT?

Respect: Show Gregor, Books Gregor, and the only Hobbit Respect Thread that seemingly exists, Books Samwise

Gregor fights all four Hobbits at once. Everyone has their armor and weapons. Frodo does not have the One Ring or Phial of Galadriel. Gregor is not zombie version. Battle takes place in a grassy field.

  • Round 1: Book versions.

  • Round 2: Movie/show versions.

  • Bonus Round: Who is the weakest character/monster/group from GOT that would beat all four Hobbits at once?

Skynet has determined it's not Sarah Connor it has to worry about, instead it's the protagonists in every other 80s movie. If the T-800 from the original Terminator was sent back to kill the leads of other 1980s movies, who would be the weakest that would successfully survive and defeat the machine? Marty McFly? The Breakfast Club? Indiana Jones? The Goonies? John Matrix? The Ghostbusters? Ferris Bueller? What's it take to bring down the machine?

Assume the Terminator is hunting the main character like it was Sarah Connor. If it's an ensemble the machine is targeting all of them.

  • Round 1: The character knows it's coming.

  • Round 2: They have no idea it's coming.

Could Piccolo take on every single powerful human from Dragon Ball all at once? If Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Roshi, Chiaotzu, and Yajirobe all jumped him, could they take down the Namekian? Is there any time in the series that these guys all teaming up would win against Piccolo?

Assume everyone is in character. Jumping can take place at any time in the series, even if some of the characters are dead or unavailable. Would they win in the original Dragon Ball? Saiyan Saga? By the time they fight Cell? Some time in Super? Did they ever have a chance?

The real world obviously couldn't deal with some comic book villains like Galactus or Thanos, but where would the line be drawn? Sure, Paste-Pot Pete, Stilt-Man, and Shatterfist probably get stopped after a little while, but who would be the weakest who wouldn't? Is the Serpent Society be unstoppable? Could Sabretooth be contained? Would Electro just run rampant? Who would be the weakest Marvel 616 comics villain that the real world just wouldn't be able to stop?

Assume for the sake of the prompt that the villain is out doing villainous things and not just laying low.

  • Round 1: The world is unprepared and the villain is in character.

  • Round 2: The world is informed 6 months beforehand, and the villain goes on a total rampage.

What if the C'tan from WH40k also existed in Dragon Ball? How powerful would they be compared to the main cast? These things are serious business in their home universe, but would they be able to keep up with a character who busted the moon like 40 years ago and has gotten exponentially stronger since? At what point in the story do you think that Piccolo could take down a full powered unshattered C'tan?

Assume for the sake of the prompt that powers and abilities are as compatible as reasonable.

Respect threads! Piccolo and C'tan!

  • Round 2: It's the strongest C'tan. The Nightbringer or Void Dragon maybe?
