The Ancient City of Petra in Jordan is Known as The Rose City
It’s mostly because of the color of the sandstone. I think it’s a lovely starting point for a 2-stick. I’m long out of that scene, so have at it if you’re interested.

Hello all, I’m looking for folks to discuss MB fountain pens with, as Fountain Pen Network is currently having some issues. I was given my first 144 as a graduation gift when I was 17, and the experience has made me a customer for life. I don’t really venture into the highest of pen echelons, I mostly like the Meisterstücks and slim models from the 1970s and ‘80s. I would like a calligraphy flex 146 someday.

Hi, I’m a Fountain Pen Network member who is looking for a new place to talk pens, as the forum is currently having issues. I have been using fountain pens since the mid ‘80s, collecting luxury pens since 1991. I have an extensive collection and don’t really specialize in anything in particular, except for anything that has a penguin on it or is named after one. I have been lurking here for about a decade.
