Any tips for brain fog/difficulty "locking in"
I'm a semi-pro Street Fighter 6 player and I've won a couple of tournaments in my state, but I'm infamous for inconsistent performance especially at home. Specifically, the only thing that seems to make me not have a heavy, sleepy feeling in my eyes is adrenaline from playing in person or crashing out.
Crashing out is obviously not healthy or sustainable, it got to the point where i'de slap myself in the face just to "wake up" and it would do the trick but you know...not viable.
I sleep well, I drink caffeine, Ive tried Adderall and none of it works the same as getting fired up but I can't just be a yelling self violent mess at home while I'm trying to train. I'm nearing 30 and my partner is moving in soon but this is my passion and I need to make it work ( she's aware of my struggles and is shockingly indifferent but I still want to be better for her and myself ). Does anyone have any advice on how to combat this dullard, slow feeling without resorting to entering a fight or flight state all the time? Thanks!
