Last night power went out and did not came back until this morning in perungudi and tonight again? What the hell are they even doing? Can’t bear with this heat and humidity!
I’m trying to wrap my head around the advertising logic in our theaters right now. I just watched karuppu, and the entire pre and mid show advertising was in Hindi. Hindi commercial ads, Bollywood trailers and even a government promo video in Hindi (with Hindi subtitles, just in case the spoken Hindi wasn't enough).
It’s incredibly annoying. If I go to a Hindi movie, I expect Hindi ads, that’s completely fair. But for a local movie where the vast majority of the audience doesn't speak the language, what is the end goal here? You're advertising to a brick wall.
It completely ruins the theater experience before the movie even starts. Is it just lazy ad distribution or do they genuinely not care about who is sitting in the seats?
