Hello, I’m a student in a completely different major looking into becoming a dental hygienist. While doing my research on the career, I came across several conversations on the topic of dental assistants scaling teeth.
Will this have a large negative impact on dental hygienists and their pay in the future? I’ve seen people even suggest choosing a different career path due to this.
