I’ve been messing around with Kindroid for a while and there’s honestly a lot you can change. The backstory and memory stuff are probably what I like most.

It took me a bit to get things feeling right though. At first I kept getting the same kinda replies over and over.

Once I got the setup figured out, it got a lot better. Definitely worth trying if you like tweaking things and making the AI feel more like your own.

A guy I know lost his mom last year, and he found an app that can recreate her voice from old voicemails. He listens to it sometimes before bed and says it actually helps him sleep.

His sister thinks it’s really creepy and keeps telling him he needs to let go. I honestly don’t know. If it gives him some comfort, I can understand why he does it, but I can also see why it would feel weird to someone else.

Would you use something like that if you were in his situation?
