Today I drove 3hrs to go pick up this baby boy. I named him Appa after the sky vision from Avatar: The Last Airbender. He's 6wks old and I love him so much already. I'm really nervous for some reason. He is not my first dog, but is my first chow chow. I have done research on the breed and waited about 1.5yrs before getting one. I just want to make sure I socialize him well, leash train, and ensure he is a well rounded confident dog. Any breed specific tips from experienced owners would be much appreciated! 😇
