I love my TRT110h

I've worn my TRT110h in the green colorway for around a year now. I've used and abused it in multiple capacities, including janitorial work where it came in contact with various cleaning materials (not bleach) as well as unspeakable slimes and sludges, and the thing washes up like a champion. I know Casio watches are known for being waterproof, but they really mean in with their Mud Resist feature. However, the rubber coverings of the buttons make the experience of pressing the buttons to be somewhat smushy, and requiring slightly more force to depress than you'd find on a normal Casio.

The Super Illuminator is quite bright, using two white LEDs on the lower corners of the screen. Therefore, light coverage is brightest on the Time display and dimmer on the Date and Alarm displays, though they're by no means dark.

In my opinion, the best part of this watch is the Vibration Alarm. I really can't overstate how much I enjoy this feature. I've always found the hourly signal feature to be obnoxious. That little beep beep every 60 minutes would just drive me nuts. With the Vibration Alarm it transforms an auditory annoyance in to a minor superpower where I feel a small bzz bzz and suddenly I know it's four o' clock. Obviously, the regular Alarm and Timer vibrate as well, but I wouldn't count on them to wake you up unless you're a very light sleeper. Personally, I use the alarm as a discreet medicination reminder.

This is a budget watch; I got mine on an Amazon sale for around $36 (I live just outside Portland, Oregon for reference), and you can find it from $40 to $50 on there today. This is reflected in the materials. As you can see the screen has been scratched up, though not terribly IMHO considering how I've gardened, cleanes, chopped wood, washed dishes, and hiked to earn those scratches. The paint has also faded from the light button, but I believe I may have caused this by swimming in a saltwater pool that left a few slight splotches on the resin. Some sort of chemical, I suppose. I'm also clumsy at times, and the overbuilt nature of this watch makes it pretty shock resistant, even if it lacks the internal construction of a G-shock.

SUMMARY PROS AND CONS

Pros:

-Watch is chunky and has rubber coverings on the buttons to protect from mud and grit

-Vibration Alarm vastly improves the functionality of the Alarm and Signal features if you find audible alarms intrusive

‐Casio resin band is comfortable enough to sleep in

-Super Illuminator is very bright

-Cheap for its high durability

Cons:

-Rubber coverings make buttons slightly difficult and smushy to press

-Vibration alarm probably not enough to wake you up

Overall, I highly recommend this watch to anyone interested in the Vibration Alarm or anyone looking for a G-Shock-esque Casio under $50. I plan to upgrade to a G-Shock GD350 in the future, as it retains the same features as this watch except for Mud Resist.
