I'm making an incredibly gay and intelligently written Highschool Romance Drama.
Its equal parts Drama, Comedy, and Character Study.
It's a semi-realistic teen ensemble following the protagonist, a sardonic new comer to the school meeting back up with his ex.
This is very obviously an archetypal setting, but it takes a twist by being written as if atleast some of the characters have brain cells.
Notable roles include.
Brayden, said newcomer, who will need a wide vocal range, to depict the difference between his internal monologue and his external tsundere'ness.
Ryan, the tender ex who's actions are ambiguously either incredibly love kindling, or Incredibly manipulative. It will need an actor who can walk that metaphorical tight rope.
And for the special pick.
Jameson, a character who only speaks in clicks, and yet can express such emotion and intent in her clicks that everyone understands her.
