Coming up for retirement so looking a chill place with mountains and lakes

We are, 60 years old looking to relocate from SA to VIC both WFH - been looking at the market in the Daylesford area Hepburn Springs, Trentham etc , seems you can get a decent house for $800k to $1M opposed to $1.5M here in SA (Adelaide Hills) - question is do we sell in SA, cash in and rent in Daylesford area or hold on in SA for 12 months

Thoughts on the Daylesford area would be good if anyone has made the move
