I have large wires in my garage wall to a Tesla charger. Noticed a few weeks ago a clicking sound in the wall. (About 3 ft from the charger.

I had dry wall installed to repair where they cut open the wall to run the wiring.

And then I had wall slats installed over the dry wall.

I’m thinking a screw went into wiring and therefore arcing

I pulled the wall slat off and the clicking is gone.

I’d like to trace the wire and figure out how to open the drywall but not sure where the wire is exactly.

Best tools to find the wire?

Also thought I could cut a hole well above it and use snake to find the height from the hole.

Had an attics dehumidifier drain pans fill and what a mess.. want to out in monitoring to insure it never happens again.

I’ve used moen flo for house water and govee for water tank but consisting ubiquity since im sliding down the rabbit hole!

What does she think of the interface, aka my wife is used to ring for security cameras and moving to ubiquity wondering what she will think of the user experience?

She already hates all my automation apps, rainbird, hayward, lutron, sonos, etc etc etc..

ready to dive down the rabbit hole....
