DIY help needed: fitting a pilot frixion Waai into a Muji hexagonal aluminum?
Hi everyone!
Any pen and ink savvy hackers around?
I recently discovered the Pilot Frixion Waai in Sand Beige and love how it writes and the ink color is p.e.r.f.e.c.t. But the body is… not.
I am also used to my favorite Muji Hexagonal Aluminum Knock type which I use… a lot.
Any chance I might be able to diy the use of the first in the body of the second?
I mean…. They are so so close, and it’s a fit until you click: and they it doesn’t budge. It looks like the tip of the Muji refill is slimmer than the Pilot’s. So the spring doesn’t go as far as it should, if that makes sense.
This is my first time going this far into nerd-inkia and never diy-ed refills. I know it’s a thing, would appreciate any help from those in the know :)
