I know they are franchises, but does corporate have any sort of minimum standard for keeping up with reformer maintenance? The carriage & shoulder pad vinyl on about half of the machines in my club is splitting and the broken areas are covered with black tape.

I've asked instructors about it, and they say the owner doesn't plan to repair any time soon because it's expensive.
