I filled three little woven baskets with hand-rolled eggs, no two quite the same shade
More tiny eggs, because the bakery ran out

My 1:12 bakery corner: cream buns up top, fruit tarts in the case, baguettes below
This is why I love making miniatures — time slows down and everything feels full
lace valance, plank floor and a window full of blooms, right down to the scored floorboards
I sculpted running water for my 1:12 kitchen sink — tap, splash and all
A little corner café I put together in 1:12 scale. ☕🥐
I built the room and furniture by hand: every floorboard is cut, laid and stained one at a time, and the shelves, counter, window ledge and the slightly wobbly bar stool are all made from wood strips and aged with stain. I styled it with tiny breads, pastries, cups and a vase of dried roses to make it feel like a place you'd want to sit with a coffee on a slow afternoon.
The sunlight coming through the window was a happy accident, and I couldn't resist taking pictures. 🌤️
Which spot would you sit in: the window seat, or right by the bread shelf?
Close-ups from my rustic bakery: preserve jars, sliced ciabatta and a basket of baguettes
