Well Chooms, after going so hard about this issue I'm bloody proud to announce to everyone, WeirdCo has now offered a solution to a problem that was agitating many fans! There will be an event at a letter date, hosted digitally, for those who couldn't make any of the major conventions. All you need to do is attend the event, and boom! You've got the promo.

This is honestly a brilliant result for all of the backers and fans alike. I'd personally like to thank WeirdCo for reconsidering and addressing the issue🍻

And well done to those who were vocal on the issue, without the communication of negative feedback things do not change! I'm happy so many from the community were able to express their concerns.

Guys, can we talk about this...

So guys, just wanted to throw my thoughts out here and hopefully get some opinions from the Reddit community.

What the hell is going on with this TCG already man?! So as we know, we're all now waiting for our backer rewards in September. So why the hell is the first actual card that people will have coming from a convention before the backers have even got their stuff yet. Wouldn't be such a blow if they had done this with all their previous stalls but they didn't bother. I went to a show last month and honestly the stall was shocking. No way would you think that company just done close to $30 mill! No preordering, no promos, no merch, the front desk was three cards and that was it. Hell, they didn't even let you keep a demo deck. Plenty of fans turned up to specifically support WeirdoCo, paid good money to attend, travelled, all for the shows to be arguably the worst stall there. And now they want to crack the champagne and turn up. People can argue the point about promos being a thing in most TCGs, sure. But they certainly aren't handled like this lol. And I thought they wanted to be different from the rest.

Furthering the annoyance is they've also announced a bundle on their site with two cards that you'd have assumed would be in the beta box considering the game hasn't even launched yet. Nope, more money please. Which wouldn't be too bad if we actually had the discounts we was promised for being a part of the "WeirdCo Crew" or whatever they've called it, remember we was supposed to be getting first access to these kinds of things too. At over £200 this seems ridiculous. So rather than sorting the commitments they've already made they just thought nah, everyone can pay full wack, even the backers who made all this possible, give us more money. Yes I know CDPR is the one stocking the product, but let's be real. They could have cut a discount if they wanted to.

The comments on their latest update speak to the number of people who've been pissed off about these issues. Days later and not one reply to any of the complaints. Like how are you pushing even more product before sorting out the people who made any of this possible then not engaging with the complaints after being called out.

Has any community manager or someone within the company acknowledged any of these issues yet?

Don't drop the ball before it's even kickoff time, WeirdCo.

To cut or not to cut?

Good afternoon everyone! Some questions if anyone can help me please.

First of all, what tree is this?

Secondly, is there anything I can do about it growing along the floor, like bringing it back to height with supports or something?

Thirdly, is this tree infected or dying? It might sound stupid, but I can't see any clear signs of rot.

I really like this tree in my garden, I don't want to have to cut it down but over the years the old girl's been slowly sinking to one side. Anyone able to share some advice please?

Many thanks!

One for the POT folk

New email's dropped, I recommend having a scan through.

I'm really not too confident at the moment that we'll be recieving our goods before the retail version drops. And I know people will say "well you should have backed in full" well that just didn't work for many, many people. I don't get why they've set the retail release so close with people expecting their products, then acting like it's Kickstarters fault for not allowing the people who've specifically selected to pay over a set time, to pay it off all of a sudden. They should have left a bit more time between the beta products being sent and retail release. Going to be such a disappointment seeing people rip retail while still waiting for something I backed early for.

Hopefully this isn't the case, but I've seen plenty of people worried about it all the same.

Until then I'll be patiently waiting for my 3 Netrunner kits :D
